Welcome to Green Witch Vintage & Handmade

We are Amanda and Michael, a pagan couple with a love for restoration and reuse, nature and gardening, woodworking and herbalism. Green Witch Vintage & Handmade is a natural extension of our passions!

We curate and craft all our supplies and tool sets with an eye toward quality condition, usefulness, history, and beauty. You'll find several herbs and seeds in our collection that come from our organic garden, while our handmade work is crafted in our workshop and incorporates repurposed wood and new old-stock hardware.

More below, including a slide shows of us, our altar & our garden and a ridiculous number of photos of our cats…

Watch our Instagram feed and blog to keep up with our urban garden, our many cats, and activities in our workshop. We'll also provide how-tos in our blog as well as vintage history entries on particularly interesting pieces and annual entries on the sabbats, including recipes and celebration ideas.

We want Green Witch Vintage & Handmade to serve the needs of our witchy and not-so-witchy customers. So, you should always feel free to let us know if you're looking for anything specific—handmade, vintage, or new. We're happy to work with clients to design and manufacture custom altar pieces—like sphere stands turned from special types of wood—or search our vintage resources for particular items.

Also, if you're interested in selling your handmade pieces through our shop, let us know. As long as your art fits with our themes of witchiness, nature, self-empowerment, and spirituality, we're happy to be a distribution resource.

Now, the cats…

  • Zeezo—Our elder stateman, born in 2009, is a male Scottish Fold with a smoke-shaded tabby pattern. He’s also a big snuggle baby who loves tummy rubs and playing robe-belt.

  • Pooja—Nothing gets done in this house and business without Pooja’s assistance. Born in 2021, she’s brimming with tortitude (if you’ve had a tortie, you know). She murders all wayward crickets in our basement and keeps Binny in line.

  • Binny—Bron in 2023, Binny is our youngest. He’s a blue (solid gray) with big fangs (or teefs) as we call them. He’s extremely derpy and loves to show the world his crotch. Also a snuggler and apprentice cricket hunter.

  • Rusty—Rusty was a neighborhood cat we adopted as garden cat. We estimate she was born in 2011. She’s a complicated cat but very loving. Calico-ish, she’ has to be shaved every spring, so watch for photos.

  • Fanny—Our newest addition, calico Fanny is another neighborhood feral we managed to woo. We think she was born in mid- to late-2023. She’s remarkably affectionate and trainable for a feral. She and Rusty are still reaching détente.
