Curating Using Intuition

I don't talk much about my green witch practice in our blog or social posts because I don't want to sour something so personal by using it as a marketing tool. Sometimes, though, my practice crosses over with my work as Green Witch Vintage & Handmade's owner—our City Witch set (Art Deco theme) is one such example.

Ever since we listed it on greenwitchvintage.com, I've been dissatisfied—my intuition kept whispering that there was something off about the set. So, I've been working over the past few weeks to put together something that's a more complete altar set with a solid Art Deco design that includes the tools any green witch might need.

Today, we unveil the updated set. Several original pieces are still there—the New Martinsville glass, the lacquered box, the Wheaton bottle, and so on—but you'll find many new pieces—a Bryce offering bowl, Hartmeyer scissors, metal spell-candle holder, and more.

A few other sets on our site niggle at me like the City Witch one did. I plan to continue this sort of "reshuffling" as we move forward until my inner voice tells me everything is just right.

As always, if there's something you'd like to see on greenwitchvintage.com, drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you.
