Vintage History: Godinger Silver Art

Founded in 1973, Godinger Silver Art had produced many beautiful silver, pewter, and other metal pieces from boxes and candlesticks to honey pots and snuffers. They are perhaps best known for bee and bee-related designs, specifically gold-plated bees atop pewter designs. You can find examples in our Beekeeping Book Set.

While they still manufacture bee-related designs, Godinger’s modern take is a different style—a bit shinier and larger. The company also manufactures more delicate and ornate metal pieces not related to bees, though often with a natural theme.
