Jos. Heinrichs Copper & Brass Chafing Dish Set—7.875" tall
Vintage—Jos. Heinrichs chafing dish set, pure copper with brass detail with coated cooking surface, 7.875” tall fully assembled. Perfect for potion-makers, rootwork practitioners, and kitchen witches. Bowl is 3.25” tall, 9” diameter (!) at top. Stand is 4.875” tall, 6.5” diameter at top. Bowl fits firmly in the stand’s rabbet. Alcohol burner is 2” tall, 2.375” diameter at top (handle not included). Beautiful metal work. Brass feet still firmly in place. Bowl’s original handles are missing (see photos). Surface for heat and soot damaged, so we stripped, polished, and fumed (for patina) the pieces in our workshop. The alcohol burner is unmarked—probably not Jos. Heinrichs—but is a matching addition for the set. Burner is more damaged than the other pieces but is still solid and uncracked. Obvious signs of age and use but no cracks, dents, or chips. Good condition.
