Green Witch's Ukranian Altar Tools Set
We obtained the Soviet-era (1922-1991) cauldron, scissors, and spoon directly from some very nice Ukrainian people. We've added some handmade maple pieces and some herbal and crystal witchery to create this set.

TOOLS
Cauldron—Vintage—Soviet era cast aluminum cauldron, 5.5" tall, 6" diameter at mouth (just under 8" at widest point). This cauldron has been well-used over the years. When it came to us, it was coated in char and creosote. When we cleaned that off with a wire brush, the aluminum was shiny enough to be a disco ball, so we gave it a darkening bath to give it a nice vintage look. Signs of use, but no cracks, dents, or gouges. See photos for the best description. Very good condition.
Scissors / Athame—Vintage—Soviet-era cast metal scissors (we think steel or iron, but aren't certain), 7.5" long, 2.75" wide at handles. Handles are dipped in a green rubberized material. We made a small repair to a tear in this material (see photos). When they came to us, these scissors had a lot of rust. We've cleaned it off and oiled the metal for protection, but dark spots remain where the rust had begun (if you keep the metal dry and lightly oiled, the rust will not return, see photos). I love the cast design on the blades—rare to see in scissors as the decorative portion is usually on the handles. Still tight and cut well. If treated nicely, will last for years to come. Good condition.
Spoon—Vintage, possibly Antique—Silverplate spoon with real green aventurine treardrop cabochon set in handle, 4.375" long, 0.875" diameter at bowl. Early Soviet-era or Late Tsarist-era. Tsarist-era design on handle with aventurine. The spoon was severely tarnished when it came to us. Cleaned and polished, it looks great. Other than expected signs of use, it is solid, the weld is tight, the stone is firmly in place, no bends. Very good condition.
Candle Holder—Handmade—Maple candlestick in goddess design, 4.25" tall, 1.25" diameter at widest. Handturned in our workshop. New.
Sphere Stand—Handmade—Maple sphere stand in goddess design, 2" tall, 1.25" diameter at widest point. Handturned in our workshop. New.
Sphere—New—Tree agate with druzy inclusions, 53mm diameter. New
Mortar & Pestle—New—Black soapstone mortar & pestle in tulip design. Mortar is 4" tall, 4" diameter at mouth. Pestle is 4" long. New.
