SOLD—Vintage Brass Firestarter with Wand
Vintage—Cape Cod-style brass firestarer with stone wand, 6” tall (to top of lid), 4” diameter at base. Wand is 11.75” long, stone is approximately 2” diameter at widest point. Heavy patina and light scratches on the lid. Handle is attached well, hinge is strong, but there is a break on the keyhole for attaching to the wall (see photos). The stone wand has some natural figure in it (see photos). The wand’s stone and knob are firmly attached to the handle. This firestarter was most definitely used. We’ve washed it but if you stick your nose in it, you’ll pick up the residual odor. Nice tool for a coven. The interior is moderately corroded—if kept dry, it will not progress. Fair condition.
