Hand-Hammered Copper & Iron Cauldron—4.875" tall
Vintage, possibly Antique—Hammered copper and wrought iron cauldron, 4.875” tall, 4.875” diameter at mouth (does not include handles). More delicate hammering work than we’ve seen on most hand-hammered cauldrons, dark patina, and un-twisted iron handle. Bun feet are also made of hand-hewn copper. Shows expected signs of age, including some discoloration inside, flaking of black paint from handle, and light discoloration where handles join copper body (see photos). No dents or scratches. Unique among hand-hammered copper cauldrons. Gorgeous patina. I almost kept this one. Good condition.
